Our Story

Rev. Dr. Jeremias & Pastor Rufina Antonetty are founders of Liberty Praise Ministries Inc., Talk Straight Bible Podcast (FB & YouTube), Women of Brass & Men of Brass Ministries for over 45 years.

Our vision first and utmost is Jesus Christ, but there are four principles that we strongly live by that is, worship, the fellowship of the saints, discipleship and ministry. When these four principles are properly applied we will see people come to Jesus, because we are holding out the Word of Life and shining as stars in this crooked and depraved world.

The burden in our hearts is to see people living an uncompromised and unadulterated life for Christ. Our goal is and has always been to build ministers in their gifts and help them to achieve that which God has called them to. However, our scope goes beyond the community setting but also to all the world, we are convinced that there are a people that God has for us to reach and so through God’s word, we are preaching and teaching men, women and children God’s purpose and plan for their lives that they may go out to all the nations.

“It takes one man to receive a vision from God, but it takes a people to help fulfill the vision of the man.”
(See Josh. 1:12-15).

Women of Brass finds its foundation in the women who stood at the entrance of the Tabernacle of Moses—women of devotion who willingly surrendered their brass mirrors to form the Laver of Brass, the sacred washbasin used for purification and service before the Lord. In the Chumash, they are referred to as the “Legion of Women,” a name that reflects their unity, strength, and unwavering commitment.

These were not ordinary women. They were women who lived with a deep sense of responsibility to God, carrying themselves with righteousness in every area of life. They stood at the door of the Tabernacle not only as worshipers, but as women devoted to truth—standing faithfully in a generation often marked by spiritual compromise.

They submitted themselves to the authority and judgment of the Word of God in their own lives, yet they did not carry a spirit of judgment toward others. Instead, they reflected the beauty, consistency, and holiness of Christ in their character and conduct. Their lives were a testimony, presenting the image of Christ in such a way that it would draw others to the Savior.

Women of Brass represents more than distinction, talent, or outward ability. It represents women who are deeply committed to seeing the Kingdom of God established in their generation—women who live with purpose, spiritual strength, and unwavering faith.

Breaking the Levees

As introduced on our homepage, a levee is a structure built to hold back powerful waters. In the lives of many women, these levees can represent limitations, barriers, wounds, fears, and beliefs that restrict spiritual growth and freedom.

At Women of Brass, breaking the levees refers to the process of learning, embracing, and applying the truth of God’s Word so that these barriers can be removed. Our heart’s desire is to establish a platform that ministers biblical principles which bring healing, restoration, and spiritual empowerment.

Scripture reminds us in Galatians 3:28 that in Christ there is neither male nor female, for all are one in Him. This means that the inheritance, blessings, indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and spiritual access to God have been freely given to both men and women. Before God, women are fully called, fully equipped, and fully capable of living and ministering according to His divine purpose.

Women of Brass exists to help women grow in spiritual maturity, walk confidently in their identity in Christ, and stand firmly in the calling God has placed upon their lives—free from limitation, grounded in truth, and strengthened by His Word.
